My last post highlighted the power of video-recording in helping students learn. I posted two different video tutorials on video recording: Stop Motion and on-screen videos. However, writing or composing through text is another great way students can learn. Digital tools have definitely expanded the ways we can compose text allowing students to become publishers of newsletters or even memes. Here are two new #LearnYourWay videos that focuses on students using digital tools to create and learn through text: Pages and Typography. Let your students learn both strategies and leave it to them to choose which tool they want to use. It’s important that we don’t focus on what tool all students have to use or what product they all have to create. Teach them choices and let them learn their way.
